ROA emerged as an Italian footwear brand in 2015 from the valleys between the Alps of Italian South Tyrol as a response on how to continuously pass between home, workshop and mountainside.
The resulting hybrid attitude sits at the core of ROA, and as a brand it constitutes an on-going exploration of how to adapt this hybrid attitude to contemporary conditions. How to remain grounded in the landscape while engaging with a contemporary society.

ROA’s performance-oriented update to the backpack, this go-to bag features technical UltraWeave fabric, the lightest and strongest fibers commercially available, with a tensile strength 15x stronger than steel, waterproof to 200 psi, and UltraGrid, the world’s first recycled nylon grid fabric with Ultra ripstop. This 40-liter backpack features adjustable shoulder straps, and a waist strap for added fit security. Top rolling closure with double buckle system, two side pockets, two added pockets on the shoulder straps, and an adjustable central anchoring system. This bag is finished with a small, contrasting ROA logo, implemented on the front of the silhouette.
