ROA emerged as an Italian footwear brand in 2015 from the valleys between the Alps of Italian South Tyrol as a response on how to continuously pass between home, workshop and mountainside.
The resulting hybrid attitude sits at the core of ROA, and as a brand it constitutes an on-going exploration of how to adapt this hybrid attitude to contemporary conditions. How to remain grounded in the landscape while engaging with a contemporary society.
