一枚のレザーを折り畳んでサイドにステッチを施したミニマルな造形が美しい「Envelope Wallet」は、郵便封筒から着想を得たデザイン。
紙幣を収納する2つのポケットとカードを収納する2つのスロット、そして硬貨を収納するジップポーチ、開閉しやすい2つのドットボタンで構成されています。
そして特筆すべきはスマートフォンまでも収納する容量を持っていること。
次世代のお財布となっておいます。

Natural vegetable tanned leather, interior contains two card slots and two open pockets for cash, zippered coin pouch on exterior, snap button closure. Based off of the proportions of a classic letter envelope.
Note: When exposed to sunlight and water, Veg Tan leather will grow darker over time and evolve with daily use. This patina effect is natural and is what gives this type of naked leather its unique quality and character.

Building Block is a design studio established in 2011, based in Los Angeles, CA. The intention of each object the studio creates is to discard conventions of luxury by magnifying the essential and omitting the excessive. Building Block suggests a minimal(ist) alternative to accessories, finding constant inspiration in the return to timeless forms.
BUILDING BLOCKは、"Kimberly Wu"と"Nancy Wu"姉妹によって設立されたマルチデザインプロジェクトです。2011年、工業デザインをベースにスタジオを開設。
デザインの中心となる要素の素材を意図的に取り入れ、新しい日常使いのプロダクトを提案しています。
現在のBUILDING BLOCKのバッグコレクションはレザー、ラバーチューブ、木を用いたユーモアのセンスとスケールで遊び心のあるスタイルを確立。過去を振り返らず今を楽しむ人のために、シンプルなわかり易さを提案していくのが今後の目標です。機能性の重要度を過度に誇張する典型的なラグジュアリーグッズではなく、最も親しみをもって使い続けられるものが、いつも新鮮な驚きを引き出してくれということを思い出させてくれます。
実用的な素材とフォルムを開拓することを通して、ラグジュアリー特有の美意識を取り除き、目的の重要性を顧みるようになりました。
